Horses react honestly to our emotions and actions. Horses do not judge; they value each person as they are and listen when you speak to them. Therefore, horses  create an emotionally safe environment where you can practice newly learned skills before applying them to real life situations.

Horses are social animals. Like humans, they have defined roles and positions within their herds. Horses also have their own personalities, attitudes, and moods. As you interact with horses in the sessions, they will open your eyes to better understand how you relate to others in the world.

Horses do not separate how they feel from how they act. This encourages you to communicate with the same depth and transparency.

Most importantly, horses are highly sensitive to their environment. They have the ability to mirror what your emotions and body language are telling them. This helps you recognize behaviors within yourself leading to meaningful changes.

  • Each session will be conducted by a mental health professional, an equine specialist, and the horses.
  • Each session is personalized to meet your goals.
  • Sessions are unique and they build on previous sessions.
  • As you interact with our horses, you will make connections and observations that can be applied to your daily life.
  • All activities take place on the ground. No previous horse experience is necessary.
